New Jersey car accident injures multiple people

On Behalf of | Jul 3, 2014 | Car Accidents

Major car accidents can be tragic enough if two vehicles are involved, but if more than two are involved, the accident can become much worse. Multiple vehicles can make the situation much more dangerous for those involved, and such an accident can involve numerous people. More cars involved in an accident can result in more severe injuries for those involved. Unfortunately, one multiple car accident in New Jersey recently injured multiple people.

The accident took place on June 26 at around 11:45 a.m. and involved three different motor vehicles. The cause of the accident is still unclear to investigators, but one vehicle was on the southbound side of the road, while the other two were on the northbound side. It is believed that one of the vehicles may have crossed the median of the road during the accident.

Two of the injured victims were flown by helicopter to the hospital while a third was transported by ambulance to a different hospital. No other injuries were reported, but the current condition of the victims is unknown at this time. The accident is still under investigation by New Jersey Police.

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, those who were injured but are not at fault for the car accident may have the right to seek monetary compensation. Compensation could be used by these individuals to pay for the various bills from the hospital for the treatment of their injuries. This could allow the victims to focus on recuperating and slowly returning to their normal routines instead of worrying about related expenses.
